Gold Circle Achievement Award
On Sept 22, 2008 Hooksett Garden Club officers were congratulated by NH Governor John Lynch for receiving a Gold Circle Achievement Award from NH Partners in Education for their involvement with the Memorial Elementary School's Youth Teaching Garden.

Betty Mae Parnell, HGC Publicity Chairman received the club’s highest honor by being named ‘Member of the Year’ on Dec. 10, 2009 during the HGC Annual Meeting and Awards Night.
HGC Members Won Five National Awards in 2009!
HGC members won five national awards in 2009 including Overall Winner for National Garden Week, The Tommy Donnan Certificate of Merit for the club newsletter, School Garden Project Certificate of Achievement , Membership Brochure Certificate of Appreciation, and Publicity Press Book 3rd place, NER. They also won three first place state awards for small clubs: Publicity Pressbook, Scrapbook and Yearbook.
