THE HOOKSETT GARDEN CLUB IS A SMALL FRIENDLY CLUB WITH A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES

The Hooksett Garden Club has nine exciting programs open to the public in 2010
All programs are at the Hooksett Public Library 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Dec 8: Members-only Annual Meeting/Awards/Pot Luck Dinner 6 p.m.

Civic Beautification: In 2009, a new "Garden at the Point" was created at the town's northern gateway and we added annuals to the garden at the south end welcome sign. Planters at the library, town hall and historical society were overflowing with seasonal annuals. We also maintained perennial, shrub and butterfly gardens at the library and the patriotic tree at the park. At Christmas we distributed greens and poinsettias to town locations.

To encourage interest in all phases of gardening, floral design and horticulture;
to aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources; and
to assist in the civic beautification of the community
